Brightwater opened in Dublin in September 1998. The company was established because a genuine gap was identified in the still fledgling, agency-led Irish Recruitment market: The need for a Recruitment Consultancy. Brightwater's professional, specialist approach was enthusiastically embraced and within 5 years the company became one of the 5 biggest employment agencies in Ireland.

Brightwater's growth is identified below, but what hasn't changed is the company's absolute dedication to being the very best, fairest, committed, intelligent, best Recruitment Consultancy in Ireland!

Our History - From Brightwater to Brightwater Group.

1998	-	Brightwater opened in Dublin.

2000	-	Moved into offices on Merrion Square.	Turnover €3m

2001	-	Brightwater opened in Belfast.	Turnover €5m

2002	-	Took 2 more floors in Merrion Square.	Turnover €7m

2003	-	Continued internal expansion.	Turnover €8m

2004	-	Took 2 remaining floors in Merrion Square.	Turnover €10m

2005	-	Brightwater Support opened in Dublin .	Turnover €12m

2006	-	Brightwater opened in Cork. Brightwater Support opened in Belfast.	Turnover €17.4m

2007	-	Brightwater Support opened in Cork.	Turnover €21.5m

The above growth is certainly excellent, but what is more crucial is the sustainability of this growth:
- The company is built on the back of the best management team I (David Bloch, CEO) have ever seen in recruitment.

- Events: The company has established, rock-solid relationships with the key professional bodies.
