24th June 2010 : LinkedIn to commence recruitment of 35 finance positions at its international Headquarters in Dublin.

The IDA welcomes appointment of Sharon McCooey as International Finance Director
IDA Ireland today welcomed the announcement by LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, that it is to recruit 35 finance professionals at its International Headquarters in Dublin. In March this year the company announced the establishment of its International Headquarters in Ireland. It now plans to commence recruitment immediately. Sharon McCooey, newly appointed international Finance Director, will head up the operation.

Welcoming the announcement, IDA Ireland’s CEO, Barry O’Leary said: “I am delighted that LinkedIn has commenced recruitment of its international finance team in Dublin, which it plans to grow to 35.
