It's HR's time to shine, CIPD Awards 2017

23 May 2017

Louise Dooley

Last Thursday saw the CIPD NI Awards return to Titanic Belfast with Pamela Ballantine hosting the event for the evening. The CIPD NI Awards are the flagship event in CIPD’s annual calendar and they’re the most anticipated and highly regarded awards for HR professionals in Northern Ireland.

The CIPD awards themselves recognise innovation and success across the HR spectrum in Northern Ireland and also highlight the contribution of HR and People Management within the wider business

Phil Clarke and I hosted a table for the evening and we were delighted that so many of our prestigious clients were able to join us on the night.

It was particularly great to see some new companies and organisations make the shortlist. It’s always lovely to see some new names and learn from their experiences.  I don’t envy the judges at all as they must have had a big challenge to choose an outright winner in each of the categories.

Compliments to Lynn Carson, Nicola Barbour, Beth McMaw, Avril Anderson and the rest of the CIPD committee for putting on another splendid evening.
