  • This Stock Control Manager job is unlike any other!     Duties and Responsibilities

  • The successful applicant will work extremely closely with the Sales team and Manufacturing partners across the world to manage all stock movements within your department.
  • Successfully forecast stock requirements by analysing historical and forecasted sales figures while also working closely with designers to manage new product launches and product promotions ensuring all stock is on all sites just in time.
  • Manage the full journey of orders to include production, shipping, packing and dispatch, improving efficiencies in deliveries to customers and to the retail store from suppliers.
  • Maintain extensive databases of all customer information to include historical sales date. Use all collated information to prepare and deliver monthly reports to the sales teams/designers and senior management
  • Manage all customer returns and the redistribution of stock
  • Essential Criteria

  • A third level qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or related discipline
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand sales figures and the ability to work out budgets based on same
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, displaying sound decision making in a high pressured, fast paced environment
  • Previous experience in identifying problems and recommending solutions, showing strong leadership skills and the ability to work successfully within a team to drive for and achieve sales targets.
  • Due to the nature of the job the successful candidate must be available and prepared to travel to many countries world-wide at short notice, as and when required
  • Desirable

  • The successful candidate will come from a Clothes, Accessories, Make-Up, or Designer background, having experience of Stock Movements within the retail sector.
