Due to company growth our client in Cookstown have a requirement for a Mechanical biased Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a Full time basis £33,000 to £37,000 + overtime Shift dependent. 2 shifts available Days and evenings up to 9.45pm only Evening shift

The Company:

A Market Leader across UK and Ireland in their High Volume Food Manufacturing industry, require a Mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time basis.

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and indirectly to the site Engineering Manager. The Maintenance engineer is required to work independently as required and have a good working relationship with production management and operators. Completing reactive and proactive maintenance tasks supporting the overall function of machinery/equipment identifying faults and solutions alike. This is a fast paced production environment and the individual must be conversant with machine maintenance and repair. Responsibilities • Perform maintenance and support tasks on high speed equipment • Scale calibration and maintenance. • Implementation of Preventative Maintenance schedules and completing associated work Management documentation. • Fault diagnosis and repair of equipment, specializing in a mechanical discipline; • Provision of technical support and general maintenance of the site; • Working with hydraulic and pneumatic operated equipment; • Support in identifying process improvement; • Any other reasonable duties as required.

The successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following: Essential Criteria: • Mechanical or Electrical Qualification, NVQ Level • Post qualification job experience, mechanical experience gained within a high volume manufacturing environment • On the job Experience • Able to demonstrate experience of mechanical fault-finding / problem solving The Rewards: £33,000 to £37,000 + Overtime depending on shift Does this sound like the challenge you have been looking for?
