Production Team Lead / Supervisor Job. Our client based in County Tyrone wish to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Production Lead to join their growing team, on a full-time basis. Excellent Package available for right Candidate £30,000 to £32,000 + Bonus and excellent package

The Role:

Reporting Directly to the Production Manager. The Team Lead will be responsible for the effective & efficient day to day management of the production operations and staff within the area to meet the company objectives and key performance indicators. • Front line manager of a team of approximately 15 production operatives in welding, assembly, test and paint to include: • Ensure all team members comply with training plans defined and are competent to carry out tasks assigned. • Monitor employee performance and conduct formal appraisals with each team member. • Become familiar with and champion company operating procedures to the production team to ensure quality product. • Ensure all production activity is logged within the company shop floor data capture tool (MRP tool). • Monitor production efficiency and act on daily efficiency reports to address shortfalls. • Co-ordinate the flow of work within or between work centres to expedite production to meet delivery dates. • Work in conjunction with the Production Manager and Human Resources to determine staffing level requirements to meet production schedule. • Ensure safe systems of work are employed for all activities. • Participate in the risk assessment process for any new or modified process of equipment. • Ensure all equipment and the workshop is maintained to a high standard and all faults are promptly reported and remedied via the authorised repair route.

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following: Essential: • Must have a strong background in manufacturing, ideally within a similar environment and be familiar with related quality processes and standards. • At least 2 years in team lead / supervisor /foreman role. • Strong employee relations skills. • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
