Utilities Site Supervisor. Our Client based in the Greater Belfast Area require a Utilities site Supervisor to join their business on a full time Basis. Excellent opportunity for an experienced Utilities professional to join a leading Company. Excellent benefits depending on experience.
The Job:
A demanding position which requires an individual to work flexibly and travel across Northern Ireland, use their own initiative in a fast-moving environment. The candidate must be able to: • Responsible for assisting with the effective planning and programming of resources to manage workload and meet client requirements. • Management and supervision of utilities teams (In-house and sub-contract) to optimise resources (manpower, equipment, and materials), and ensure efficient and timely completion of contracts and projects. • Maintain compliance with Company Health, Safety & Environmental policy and procedures for the works under your charge. • Manage operational standards by resolving problems, contribute information and identify improvements to proactively address project specific issues • Monitor and control performance against specific KPIs • Ensure staff are properly trained for their specific roles and have access to tools, equipment, and materials. • Accurate completion and submission of site returns for all stages of the contract/project including, but not limited to; o Pre site inspection o Daily diary o Record of site communications o Induction & toolbox talks o TTM and site safety checks o Weekly site inspections o Record photographs • Preparation of monthly CVRs, subcontract payments certificates and measurement and invoicing of works • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by this function.
The Person:
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following: Essential • Minimum 5 GSCE’s or equivalent • Knowledge and experience of Utilities Operations, materials and equipment is essential • Functional IT skills and ability to use Microsoft based packages and familiar with current methods of electronic data transfer • You must hold a Valid CSR Card / Safe Pass / CPCS • Full UK Driving License Excellent salary depending on experience + excellent benefits package and development opportunities Does this sound like the challenge you have been looking for?
